retired as President/COO of Toshiba America Electronic Components in June
2000. He has 40 years of experience in the electronic components business,
including semiconductors, display tubes, disk drives, CD-ROMs, DVD drives,
LCDs, and rechargeable batteries.
Since retiring from Toshiba, Mr. Brown is consulting
for several startup companies and is currently acting as COO for
API, Inc., in San Juan Capistrano, a company focusing on "location
technology."
