Selected Demos. . . .
|
PalmChip
 |
The AcurX SoC Platform
integrates common processor cores, popular peripherals, and proprietary
intellectual property to provide optimized solutions, such as this
Demonstration which runs a Linux Network Server, communicates with a
personal computer, and plays movies. |
|
Cadence
 |
See a demonstration of
the Cadence Encounter digital IC design platform. Encounter platform is the
fastest route to quality silicon by offering a complete and integrated
RTL-to-GDSII technology. |
|
EVE
 |
Demo is based on an SOC
design including an MPEG-4 Decoder for wireless applications mapped on an
Xtensa processor core from Tensilica. The demo shows how to perform hardware
and software debugging concurrently via our ZeBu platform at a performance
of 12MHz, while the decoded video clip is streamlined to the computer
monitor at 14fps. |
|
Synplicity
 |
Synplicity is a leading supplier of innovative
synthesis, verification, and physical implementation software solutions that
enable the
rapid and effective design and verification of semiconductors. |
|
Elixent
 |
Elixent
will demonstrate the revolutionary ET1 media processor - a joint
development between Toshiba and Elixent and showing the power of Elixent's
D-Fabrix Reconfigurable Algorithm Processor. The demo shows the core of
MPEG4 compression of live video, with the motion estimation results
displayed on an attached monitor. This is a challenging task for a
programmable platform, yet it is one the ET1 handles with ease - while
dissipating an order of magnitude less power than other programmable
solutions.

|
IndigoVision
 |
IndigoVision will
demonstrate its high resolution MPEG-4 Video Codec for consumer devices at
the 2nd International SOC Conference Nov 3 & 4th at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel, San Jose. Designed for ASIC and SOC applications Mainstream IP
encodes and decodes digital video to the MPEG-4 Simple Profile standard
and goes beyond Simple Profile to support Advanced Simple Profile features
for high resolution 1920 x 1280 and 4SIF/D1 size images at a full 25/30
fps frame rate. Mainstream is highly scaleable enabling the same core to
support products ranging from low-power mobile phones to HD-DVD's, PDA's,
camcorders, digital set-top boxes and digital video cameras.
|
|
Wasabi Systems
|
Wasabi Certified NetBSD is the only
commercially available, GPL-free Unix-like operating system with
professional certification and support. All Wasabi Certified NetBSD
packages are thoroughly tested, certified, and documented at Wasabi's
performance and testing facility.
