More on Joanna Colunga

Joanna Colunga received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.  As the Training and Conference Coordinator for a large, private, non-profit, social service organization in Los Angeles, Joanna planned and organized numerous local, regional, and national conferences.  In addition to large-scale conferences, Joanna has organized and implemented a wide variety courses and training series for professionals in social work, law enforcement, mental health, early childhood, and medical fields on child-welfare issues.

Funded by US AID in  Washington, D.C., Joanna has co-coordinated two international training programs for social service providers from the former Soviet Union.  Currently, Joanna Colunga is Administrative Coordinator for External Relations, serving to help shape the vision, direction, and delivery of services for numerous children and families at-risk for abuse or neglect.
