Dr. Grewal was selected as "Distinguished Professor of the Year" by the students of the Minority Engineering Students Association (MESA). He has received awards for outstanding scholarly and creative activity, community service, and teaching and technology innovations. Dr. Grewal is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a Fellow of the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering and a member of the Institute of Navigation. He serves as a reviewer for numerous refereed publications.
